This is my donor car, I believe it is a first generation Mazda 1500SS, it has been sitting in a paddock for the last ten years so has some of natures decay - unfortunately the A pillars are rusted almost completely through and is beyond saving - nearly every other part has been saveable.

This block is marked as UB which is the standard 1500 engine, though the head on it is oddly configured when comparing it to another UB engine - this leads me to believe that it is either a 1500SS head - which I haven't seen before or an 1800 head.

The new front end disc break and power breaking setup will be a very good modification to carry across. - New rotors and a reconditioning of the slave cylinders is needed.

  1. Hi I've just bought a Mazda 1500 deluxe 1967 and live in England so am having problems sourcing parts, would you be able to provide any information on where to source the following, upper and lower ball joints, brake cylinder seal kit front and back and brake hoses or a stockists who has many parts for sale of this era?

    Many Thanks
